Inner lives, Outer contexts

For this University guided project, I was asked to submit a series that engages with autobiography by working on a topic personal to me, reflecting upon an aspect of my inner life through experimentation and some degree of abstraction, to engage with my deepest fears, ambitions and memories.

I decided to explore my feeling of not belonging to The Netherlands, the country where I moved in 5 years ago.
I captured my response to the observation of my surroundings, inside (playing with objects in my home) and outside (trying to notice objects that somehow could connect with my inner self), which could convey my feeling of disconnection.
